POETRY CORNER: DID I SEE MY BABY?

POETRY CORNER:

DID I SEE MY BABY?

In front of an alluring edifice,

Studly dressed in success,

He stood,

Certain not to question this,

From his look of no stress,

I see my baby.

Walking with conceivable words,

Over my swollen belly,

My hand twirled,

Anticipating its arrival to the world,

Knowing fully I ain’t ready,

I see my baby.

My beginning of new dawn begun,

Wish me like it was you,

I spoke,

As I looked towards the sun,

I said”Lord, put me through”,

I see my baby.

All turned when my sleep break,

Then I was lost in indecision,

I wondered,

What sense does this make?

Was it imagery or a vision?

That I saw my baby.
