WHAT DID I WANT?
In the dead of the night, I woke,
To the harshness of life,
Soul searching, my mind panned,
For the need to survive,
As I felt the benumbing breeze.
On the verge of self-scrutiny,
Caught in my present thoughts,
Whilst my heart and mind battled,
For the rights and wrongs,
Without break, as the star shine.
The journey to reality began,
With different shortcuts before me,
From within, arouse a feeling,
As strong as the root holds a tree,
Then mother nature called.
My mind wandered in naughts,
As my eyelids closed gently,
Trapped in a confusion of impressions,
I did get no answer directly,
As I floated on my bed in worries.
