I’m Not A Poet.

I’m not a poet.
But still a little persona in poetry
Learning to evoke meanings
In addition to rhythmic language.

I’m not a poet
As my poems never evolve
Folk songs as the Chinese Shijing
Not even scribbling like Aristotle rhetorics.

I’m not a poet
Just as my poems still lack
Aesthetic and rhythmic qualities
As with William Shakespeare, Robert Frost
And Gabriel Okara of Nigeria.

I’m not a poet
But just conveying my inner thoughts
To reflect and correct humanity
Towards the shore of negativity.

Alone.

When HE THE HERO,
Patted goodbye,. Waved ,”Until we meet again”
Alone you
were left.

What about those,
Dreams we coveted,
Visions we held in high regard,
A future to be lived,
Can she, alone make it?

Alone you were left,
With a gap to fill.
Deep gushing wounds to heal.
Deformities to nurse.

As we saw it,
In our lenses,
You were but too crippled,
Beyond healing.
Alone you were.

The strong soul in you we didn’t know.
The facade in you we didn’t imagine.
Because alone you were.

Your loins you girded.
Your feeble hands you strengthened.
Your misty hands you cleared.

Alone,
From morsel.
To silk.
Up to these prestigious papers by the walls.
Alone you made it.

The future dreary you brightened.
Making it worth living.

Alone,
You made it
Single as you were.

The Damn city ( Zamfara)

Not for days, month or year
When Fear and grief has been still
Not only in our midst but in all
Our place has become a carve
A place for the beast alike
In rage, we wept in grave
Not for foods nor money
But the crown for where we stay
Our streets are painted in red
Our well are coloured with blood
Our eyes are steadily open as
The rain cannot nurture the plant
In the daylight, we are being rubbed of our life
And in the cold were laid the body
The night breeze could not be feel
As it marks in our eyes, the tear of sorrow
We could not hope for a day to come
As the darkness in the night sees as doom
This cannot be called a game
And the blame is for who to bear
Even if its a political strive like
It should not end with our head
In the bane of this city, we are bound
And in the agony of this state, we live
Save us from the sadness of here
And Give hope of better days to come.
Let the shining star bring the luck
For us to forever live in peace.

Punk Poem ‘ GIMME LOVE.’

Gimme love …
So I can put assurance on my breath,
my soul longing for the heart it wishes ,
love or hate me .I am only young once ,
be my love story director before ditchwater of age.

Be my love ultimately…
Just capture my haste in millponds ,
better late than never.
When you touch my waist of the wind,
I feel life coming back to me.

Gimme love …
So I can put assurance on my breath,
my soul longing for the heart it wishes ,
love or hate me .I am only young once ,
be my love story director before ditchwater of age.

Let story breaks be lost madly…
surround my fear with nest love bonds,
how long more in never.
When you smooch my thighs of the rind,
I feel life coming back to me .

Gimme love …
So I can put assurance on my breath,
my soul longing for the heart it wishes ,
love or hate me .I am only young once ,
be my love story director before ditchwater of age.

Give me love hon honey ,
if thousands of snakes scream my name,
I will whistle once for you,you you you…

Gimme love …
So I can put assurance on my breath,
my soul longing for the heart it wishes ,
love or hate me .I am only young once ,
be my love story director before ditchwater of age.
