21 YEARS OF REFLECTION is an insightful piece of a young lad striving to keep his heads up and less deviated despite tiring hurdles and obstacles.

This little piece of writing, technically encapsulates the Fear of the Unknown that became an ally to the boy (SALAUDEEN RIDWAN AYODEJI), the difficulties experienced and the nightmare of failed processes.

This story literally made way for life inspirations that enhance the dying enthusiasm and optimism in a living being. It’s a practical motivation that encapsulates that believing in oneself is the first step to greatness!

Imagine a freshly beheaded man, dripping and flowing from his lifeless head is the reddish ink with no restrictions, expressing a gory scene. Picture how water flows ceaselessly from the village spring with ease bringing tranquillity to its environs and people therein. Think of a woman in the labour room, who despite the painful experience give a hard push to birth a child.

The aforementioned scenarios depict the inspirations and motivations behind the bleeding inks that birth the DIGGERS PEAN. The first 10 poems succinctly cut across eulogy of a fallen hero, love, nature, a feministic appraisal of women and other life’s contemporary issues.

The second 10 poems that follows expresses deep emotions of pains. Pain of who you are. Pain of love and culture. Pain caused by death. Pain from relationships. However one of the poem expresses the wonders of nature and the BEING behind the creation of nature. A richly spiced poem limpidly discuss the mystery behind conjoined twins.

The concluding 12 poems cut briefly and succinctly cut across African Culture, myth, lust-love-deception, mother’s love, regret and advice.

Moses Broken Dreams as the name implies is a conjoined thought on the contemporary and reoccurring issues in the Nigerian political system. The anthology consists of eight thought-provoking poems ranging from THE BIG AND LITTLE WORDS to SEVEN STABS.

The FOREST of THREE and SIX TREES got its provocation from the high level of CORRUPTION displayed by political leaders and men of the forces. How thumbs got printed during the election with sweetened promises of the aspiring leaders and how eventually the promises never see the light of the day. The poem sailed to its destination with a rhetorical question of “Who will save the nation, Nigerians, Leaders or Citizens?”

The SEVEN STABS as titled was about how the country had failed her citizens and which are affecting the Nigerians of today; Fear, Fear of death, Suicide, Time fiction, Deceit, Lies and Greed, and the other Poet emphasized of Insecurity, Violence on Female Child, Bribery and Corruption, Self-centredness.

Untold hardships are the course of the day, income no longer comes with ease. Exorbitant numbers of unemployed graduates no longer have a reliance on their certificates, as it is more or less required to earn one income. Legally or illegally, a normal human being must survive.
