Two days ago, I moved over to a new location because I had an exam to write.
I got an email stating the examination was going to be computer based, meaning I didn’t have to report on site.
I was ready with my laptop and internet connection,
Only to realise that my PC wouldn’t come on!
Oh no, don’t worry,
It wasn’t the day for the exam yet, but I had to be sure I was ready.
I quickly phoned a friend (we hadn’t seen in 2 years, but I knew he resided in the area).
I explained the situation of things to him and in less than 180 seconds, I was sorted!
Ha…! He didn’t just provide me with a PC, he offered his generator and apartment so I could take the exams uninterrupted while he was away at work.
Hmmm… this felt more than a miracle because being new in the location, I wasn’t sure how such ’emergency’ would be sorted.
While I thought over the event, I got to apreciate even more, the blessings in the gift of men.
What if the last meeting we had didn’t go well and we weren’t getting along?
What if his number was not connecting?
What if he wasn’t in town? – (I didn’t tell him I was coming)
I also thought about the power of the internet, so strong, it nearly cost my peace.
